I initially bought one for myself with some skepticism but I purchased five more as gifts. The packaging is not impressive but the stun gun is. You don't pay for all the fluff and that's probably why it's so well priced. Great stun gun and the integrated charger is convenient.

There is no reason to pay more! There is plenty of power and the quality is good. You just aren't paying for a big, flashy box!
